Today is Selangor’s public holiday but unfortunate enough for me, I still have to attend a meeting. As I said in my earlier post, I will offer myself to write the minutes of a meeting this time. Thus, I honoured my words.
Although I tried to note down everything (regardless if it is relevant to the agenda) discussed during the meeting, I was still very lost. I couldn't figure out what are M67, M68, I84, and IBS… etc, and because the whole thing was inter-related, I was led astray all along the way.
I have not started on the writing yet, but I don't think that the result will be optimistic.
I keep finding excuses for my failure... Is that true that I am really not fit to handle a simple task like minutes writing or is that because of I wasn’t involved during their previous meetings. Besides, the team which handle this case has been with the client for some time, can it be that because of inexperience with the client and smudged vision of the whole work flow affect my performance? I really don't know! I don't even know that whether I should proceed with the writing or not. I do not want it to end up with another round of disgrace!
Fine, I'll not give in! Perhaps I should spend some humble time with the experienced colleagues for enlightenment. Maybe I can find a way out from there... (They are all busy person, hope that they will be not be irritated by me asking them all sort of questions)
